Altadis Tobacco trade mark produces Gauloises Cigarettes, which at one time were smoked by almost the entire Parisian beau monde: it was considered a good form and almost an indispensable attribute of a decent person. Their bright and even capricious taste is to the liking of modern amateurs. Gauloises Cigarettes were preferred by Sartre and Camus and are able now to give great pleasure through the exquisite tobacco composition. Goluaz tobacco is a mixture of Syrian and Turkish varieties of tobacco, making the taste of Gauloises subtle and self-willed.
At first, Gauloises Cigarettes did not have a special filter, due to which their length was small. There were used Turkish and Syrian tobacco sorts in the production of cigarettes, due to which they had a rich taste and aroma. Traditional Gauloises are short and thick, unfiltered cigarettes from dark tobacco. Thick smoke, a heavy, rich taste, a well-recognized sweet flavor was the hallmark of French cigarettes. The brand gradually migrated from the category of premium tobacco products to publicly available cigarettes for every day of a moderate fortress. Tortured tobacco was diluted with a classic American blend. Later, Gauloises Cigarettes began to be released with a filter, and the tobacco mixture was added to tobacco from North America, so that their taste became softer.
During the Second World War, Gauloises Cigarettes were popular among French patriots. Also in the ranks of their admirers there was Pablo Picasso – the founder of Cubism, and other cultural and political figures. They are found not only in the books of Remarque, Cortazar (although he is not a Frenchman), but also many more. Today, Spain produces cigarettes Gauloises.
We note that Gauloises are one of the few exceptions to the design of packs: blue here contain full-bodied cigarettes, and red ones are light.
